10 Ultimate Blogging Tips Every Blogger Should Know
“Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t. So that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t.” Unknown
Stepping into the digital age and becoming a successful full-time professional blogger will be a challenge. But if you do it right, it can be very rewarding.
There are many people who have gone down this path and gave up too soon because they were missing some important traits of a successful entrepreneur. Such as will power, passion, work ethic, desire, PATIENCE, and a vision…
Many dreams have been thrown into the trash can because they didn’t see any results in the first 3 months. Blogging full time is NOT A GET RICH QUICK business model. It takes a commitment.
Let’s face the facts, there isn’t a get rich quick business model out there which does not violate the 12 laws of the universe.
You will get out of your business what you put into it. You must be willing to full heartedly do what most people are not willing to do.
You must prepare yourself for battle because it is going to be a long bumpy road.
It is so important to be surrounded by the right people who will uplift, guide, and coach you along your entrepreneurial journey. Just remember, there is a reason you are searching for new ways to live your life.
It called FREEDOM. Freedom from time and money. Now, look around you.
What do you see?
Get ready to stress less, manifest your true desires, and boost your immunity! Grab your free preview to a new you!
Millions and millions of people have become servants to the dollar. Trading time for money. Spending more time at a place where there is NO PASSION OR DESIRE. You are spending more time with your co-worker then you do with your loved ones.
The system is broken. Stop doing what the majority of the world is doing and take a different path. Because IT IS NOT WORKING…
Right?
Are You Interested or Committed to Your Life Dreams?
Like in the movie the Matrix, you can either take the blue pill and forget about your life dreams, or you can take the red pill and WAKE UP to your new reality…
Either way, it is all up to you to make the choice.
You can follow suit to what most of the world is doing.
Working at your unfulfilling job 40 plus hours a week making less than a 6-figure income. Waking up to an alarm clock every morning dreading having to go to your job which is sucking the life out of you.
Doing the same morning routine day after day.
Taking the same route to your job.
Going to the same coffee shop, hearing the same jokes from your co-workers…
Or you can live a few years out of your life doing the complete opposite of the traditional job business model and build a fulltime blogging business.
A business where you are not told when to wake up. Where you can work from anywhere in the world with only your laptop, internet connection, and a desire to live life on your terms.
Before you continue reading, ask yourself, are you interested in achieving your life dreams, or are you committed?
If you are interested, I highly recommend you STOP reading and go on with your life as nothing happened.
BUT if you are COMMITTED to your life dreams you realize what it is going to take to break free from mediocracy…
“Entrepreneurship is about turning what excites you in life into capital so that you can do more of it and move forward with it.” Richard Branson
Here are our 10 blogging tips every blogger should know.
Blogging Tip #1 – Mindset
Successful entrepreneurs have a dream life which many of you desire to have. Waking up without the use of an alarm clock, being their own BOSS, traveling the world, driving nice cars, eating at fancy restaurants, making a positive impact in the world…
Who wouldn’t want this life?
You would be amazed to find many people want this life, but are not willing to make some sacrifices. These people are too busy sleepwalking through life and would rather stay where it is comfortable.
But you got to get out of comfort zone and break a few rules if you want this dream life. You got to look up at the stars and dream big in order to break free.
Many people who have gone down this road chasing their life dreams have stopped short because they couldn’t get past the resistance. But you must experience this resistance in order to grow. You must first experience some failures.
Learn to love failing. Stay focused on your vision and keep moving forward to claim your success.
An athlete knows they must break down their muscles to complete failure before it will grow. That’s the reason lottery winners end up broke. They did not learn from the resistance and the sacrifices an entrepreneur makes. They never built a strong foundation.
How can you appreciate something you never worked for?
If they spent time working on preparing their mind and for this wealth, they would have been able to resist the temptations of SPENDING IT ALL and lived off the compounding interests alone. They would have learned the importance of formulating good habits.
The point is, your mindset is what keeps you going even though you are not making a dime. Because it may take you 2 plus years before you even make any money. But many of successful entrepreneurs claim their fortunes took over 2 years of overcoming many failures…
When you look at the statistics you will find only a small percentage are living this dream life. The reason for this is because these elite individuals were able to keep themselves accountable for their enormous goals.
They knew the importance of overcoming the inner voice in their head telling them to quit.
You know the voices I’m talking about.
It is too hard. It’s not fair. I will do it tomorrow. I don’t have enough money. I am not that lucky…
The core foundation of any business is having the right attitude. Just like when an Olympic athlete trains for their event, they must prepare their mind along with the body. Because if they don’t have a winning attitude, their body will react accordingly and they will be beaten.
The mind controls your actions. If you do not spend time working on your mindset when stepping into the world as an entrepreneur, you will be crushed.
The mind is a powerful tool. It can either make or break you. The mind controls your habits, which controls your actions. Your action creates results.
We went through John Assaraf’s Neurogym Program called Winning the Game of Money. We learned how to get rid of our limited beliefs so we could achieve success. You can sign up for the free event here.
This is what is needed in order to succeed as a full-time blogger.
Blogging Tip #2 – Overcoming Beliefs
“The only limits in life are those we impose on ourselves.” Bob Proctor
We become who we are surrounded by. If you have spent your whole life hanging around thugs and criminals, there is a good chance you will become the same.
If you have spent most of your life in a family who is rich, there is a good chance you couldn’t imagine a mediocre life.
Your subconscious mind is a sacred gift. It is like a genie in the bottle. It is the direct connection to the divine.
Whatever you feed this mind with, will reflect your results accordingly.
If you have spent most of your life believing you are only worth $60K, how could you possibly imagine becoming a millionaire blogger? Your subconscious mind is running a program which is limiting your results.
Just like the lottery winner who becomes a millionaire for such a short time ends up broke after 3 plus years later. This is because their mind’s perception of reality is limited to what it has been programmed through their life.
Their mind cannot comprehend becoming a millionaire overnight.
Society has been programmed to spend more than they make. So, when these lottery winners become unconsciously unaware of their actions, the subconscious mind sends signals throughout the body to spend, spend, spend.
They party like rock stars and throw their money away on useless things without any thoughts of having it last a lifetime.
If you want to become a successful blogger, then you must get rid of your limiting beliefs. It is proven you will make within 10% of those you are surrounded by. Not all of us have the luxury of hanging out with rich people, but there are many who put on seminars and have written books.
The greatest gift we have been given is the ability to reprogram our belief system.
My wife and I are not millionaires yet, but we surpassed our past beliefs of living in a trailer house barely making $30K, to now making a 6-figure income, paying off over $150k of debt, and living in our dream house. If we weren’t able to shift our beliefs in a new direction, we would have never broken free of a low self-image.
We now look back at our past and wonder how our life could have been if we weren’t willing to step away from our limiting beliefs…
But something sparked inside us causing our beliefs to change. We created a vision of our future and set goals to chip away. We hit many upsets along the way, but by us having a strong mindset, we kept being pulled through this resistance.
Realizing our beliefs can be changed, we have set the bar even higher and we strongly encourage you to do the same. Many of you don’t have positively influential people in your life, but this doesn’t mean you can’t change your limiting beliefs.
Find the right people to encourage you and read a lot of personal development books.
Of course, you must keep these beliefs to yourselves due to the infestation of dream stealers and naysayers.
Blogging Tip #3 – Establishing a Powerful Routine
If you don’t change your daily habits they will keep you from stepping into a successful blogging career. Because these unproductive habits keep you from taking the MUCH needed action to build a profitable business. This is what separates the many entrepreneurs who have failed compared to those who are seeing results.
If you listen to your mind, you will fall into the pattern of your limiting habits, which will lead you down the path of failure. You must realize you cannot create the life of your dreams by doing the same routine you have been doing.
The moment you wake up you must set your positive and optimistic mood for the day. In order to keep yourself upbeat, you must practice affirming your new reality along with practicing the art of gratitude.
You hear about the drama of many celebrities who have lost their way resorting to drugs and other forms of self-gratification to make them happy. These people have lost their passion and the true meaning to their happiness.
By being thankful for the little things you are preparing your mind for your future wealth.
If you are not thankful for what you have now, how can you be thankful when you are a successful blogger?
Plus, many of you believe you need money and material things to make you happy. Happiness comes from having your mind body and soul all in sync. When you are not, you feel lost and disconnected.
Therefore, the importance of practicing some sort of meditation. There are so many mystical benefits from this ancient practice.
When you meditate you will feel more grounded, connected to your true self, become more intuitive, raise your vibrational frequency, more energetic, aligned with your inner purpose, plus you will just feel all around happier…
Check out our Miracle Morning Routine blog post and start your morning the right way.
Successful people know what must be done and they are willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
The question is, are you?
Are you willing to separate from your comfort zone and make things happen?
Blogging Tip #4 – Finding Your Why
Ask yourself, WHY are you committed to becoming a fulltime blogger?
Think long and hard about this question…
Because your answer is the reasoning for doing what other people are unwilling to do. This is your fuel to drive you to blog while no money is coming in. This is your fuel needed when you must make those tough decisions like whether you should upgrade your iPhone or invest in your mindset and your business.
Whether you should downsize your overpriced vehicle in order to pay for a blogging educational course or not.
Because I am going to be blunt here. It takes money to make money. But what you give will come back 10-fold. It’s tithing to the universe. You reap what you sow. If you invest in your mind, it will pay itself off later on down the road. The same goes for your business.
Only a select few are able to make these tough decisions, hence the reason there is such a small turnout of successful bloggers.
My wife and I learned the two things we needed to invest in, and this was our mindset and our business. Because this is what we were taught, and we stopped listening to those who think they know the key to success but have nothing to show for.
But our answer to our WHY, by far outweighed the alternative.
We sold our brand-new dually pickup truck and a $60,000 fifth wheel in order to invest in our business. We had many friends and family question our motives, but in order to think like an entrepreneur, you need to do what others are unwilling to do.
Our thinking was, the sacrifices we make today will be more rewarding in the end.
Entrepreneurs don’t look at it as money going out but more as an investment. Job people think only in terms of instant gratification. They would rather put money into items which are SHINY which loses their value the moment they leave the parking lot.
Don’t get me wrong, I personally like shiny things like nice cars. But I am willing to drive an older, beat up vehicle now to have a Lambo down the road…
During our journey as entrepreneurs, we finally woke up and realized what we were passionate about. It is giving people hope. There are so many people who are feeling lost, disconnected and are looking for some inspiration.
Spend some time in solitude and ask yourself what truly makes you happy. It may not happen overnight. But once you find the answer, let this be your motivation for building a successful blogging business and never look back.
“If you don’t know what your passion is, realize that one reason for your existence on earth is to find it.” Oprah Winfrey
Blogging Tip #5 – Time Management
Time management is very crucial when stepping into becoming an entrepreneur. Especially if you work a full-time job.
Ask yourself how badly do you want to step away from your job?
Would you be willing to do anything to make it happen?
Then you need to start waking up earlier. There are 24 hours in the day. Make every second count. Write down your activities for the day and the week. If these activities are not helping you achieve your dream life, then get rid of them.
I wake up at 4 AM and spend an hour on personal development and an hour of blogging. But I HAVE HUGE LIFE DREAMS…
Start off with an hour in the morning before your job working on your self-development and blogging. Spend 30 minutes on fueling your mind and 30 minutes on blogging.
Don’t skip past working on your personal development, because the journey you are about to step into will kick your ass a few hundred times and you need a positive influential mind. Not a weak and easy to quit mind…
Everyone has a busy life. But if you limit your TV watching and NON-PRODUCTIVE activities, you can get 2 hours a day blogging during the weekdays and 4 hours or more on the weekends while still having a life. You can do more, or less, but your results will reflect accordingly.
If you like to socialize on the weekends and really want to have a successful blog, then you will have to make some tough choices. You can hang out with your friends more when you come home from your job. Make as many sacrifices to enhance your time management.
Have you ever noticed Mark Zuckerberg wearing different colors of a shirt? He doesn’t. He believes making these decisions is wasteful thinking. I agree.
If you want to have more time management, limit your colors to keep decision making less complicated plus it makes your laundry day much easier.
On the weekends lay out all your clothes for your work week. This will save you time during your work week so you can focus on establishing a blogging routine.
Plan your meals out on the weekend and have everything ready to go. This will save you time for blogging more.
We have found it is worth the added cost going through courses and investing in certain software programs. Utilizing automation as much as possible is a key component when setting up a blogger’s website to run on autopilot. Because your biggest goal is to make money while you sleep and this is how you SAVE TIME…
You can save so much time learning from those who already went through the trial and error process.
This is where you need to start thinking like an entrepreneur and not as an employee. Entrepreneurs invest in their mindset and their business. Employees invest in material things…

Entrepreneur: A crazy person who risks their own money for freedom, rather than exchanging their freedom for money.” Unknown
Blogging Tip #6 – Education
It’s time to go back to school. I know this is the last thing you want to do. But in order to become a successful blogger, you must learn a new skill. Yes, blogging is a skill. You must learn how to write with proper grammar, plus the much-needed research for your topic.
Not only do you need to know how to become a blogger, but you must also learn how to market other companies’ products. There are different ways to make money blogging.
One is by affiliate marketing and another is by sponsors. When you get enough traffic to your blogging platform, companies will pay you to place ads…
Therefore, you must have a plan because it is going to take a while. But what is the alternative?
Work until you are 65 at your job?

Blogging Tip #7 – Setting goals
What is your vision for the future?
When you go down the path as a blogger it can become lonely. I am very fortunate to be working side by side with my wife. Plus, my girls are very supportive. But we all have a common goal and it is freedom…
We are very tight lipped around friends and certain family members because they do not see the big picture. They don’t have the same BIG GOALS we do and this makes it tough. Because let’s face it. You are either around dream builders or dream stealers and your results will reflect accordingly.
Your vision is how you see your future after building a successful blogging career. By establishing an empowering vision of your future, it will pull you across the finish line.
You have long term and short term goals you must set in order to follow suit with your vision. Start setting weekly goals and monthly goals to keep you accountable and adjust your actions accordingly. Just like losing weight, you never want to focus on dropping 50 pounds in one week. Because you will get frustrated and burned out. Resulting in you quitting.
But if you set a goal to lose 5 pounds a week, it will keep you motivated by seeing results. So, if you want success as blogger aim high, but chip away one day at a time.
“I’m convinced that about half of what separates the successful entrepreneurs from the non-successful ones is pure perseverance.” Steve Jobs
Need help with accomplishing your goals. Check out the Slay Your Goals Planner by Nadalie Bardo who runs It’s All About You Boo. This is the exact planner we bought and we love it. Click on the picture below to learn more.
Blogging Tip #8 – Patience
If you are like me you want instant gratification, but good things come to those who are PATIENT. It has taken me a while to learn the importance of patience. Good things come to those who wait, and of course, do the work.
It is very important to be surrounded by empowering people. I am very lucky to have such a supportive and PATIENT wife who keeps me grounded. Plus, when we went through Alex and Lauren programs, we became a part of their private Facebook group and have many like-minded people who are very uplifting.
Life is a marathon, not a sprint. Stay true to your vision and give yourself plenty of time…
Know there are laws of the universe working alongside you like a genie in a bottle. Trust in the process and have faith your success is on its way. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Blogging Tip #9 – Embrace Failure
If you want to succeed in any area of your life you must be willing to take some bumps and bruises along the way. My wife and I have tasted failure many times. We have clawed our way out of the hole to be where we are today.
We have made many sacrifices knowing our future was going to better if we kept pressing on. Every time we got knocked down, we dusted ourselves off and tried it a different way.
Do you remember the first time learning how to ride a bike?
It wasn’t easy right? But over time you overcame your fears and learned how to ride that bike. My dad got a great deal on a bike which was way too big for me. He had me ride it every night for a week. I was a bloody pulp by the end.
But guess what? I conquered that bike and eventually took second place in a state BMX race. I didn’t give up and kept moving forward one day at a time.
When an athlete builds their muscles, they must break it down to complete failure. They know this is the only way for them to build a stronger and larger muscle. The same goes by becoming a blogger. Because it is guaranteed you will fail. But embrace it. Otherwise, you may find yourself like so many other people who have traded their dreams in on an unfulfilling job.
It is not easy and you better have you’re “A” game on when going down this road. Build a strong MINDSET and prepare yourself for battle. Let your WHY and your VISION pull you through this resistance knowing you were destined for greatness…
You can make it happen. On the other side of failure is greatness. You just got to stop letting these failures detour you from your life dreams.
Blogging Tip #10 – Never Give Up
Too many people have been so close to achieving their goal only to stop short of seeing it through. I constantly talk about the importance of working on your mindset.
The reason for this is to prepare you for greatness. Because each and every one of you has the potential to do or be anything your heart desires. The only problem is your beliefs are holding you back. Building a strong mindset gives you a solid foundation so you never give up.
Your mind can be renewed to a new program. It is written in many ancient scriptures about the renewing of your mind. Plant seeds of new positive beliefs and pull out the negative ones.
Stop hanging around people who are poisonous. These dream stealers will cause you to quit on yourself and those who are counting on you. You can make it happen. You just got to believe in yourself.
